Liz thanks for the suggestions. I read Same Kind of Different As Me last year during one of my weekends out here. Simply profound. I looked up the other on Amazon...it will go on the list. Trying to read 40 books this year plus my different walks through the Bible.

Nonfiction: Same Kind of Different as Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore. I know Kim's read it. If you haven't, you need to. It is an amazing book that EVERYONE needs to read. I have been buying the book and giving it to friends and acquaintances with instructions to pass it on.

Fiction: When Crickets Cry. By Charles Martin. This is a sweet but intense book. Very very intelligently written. The author is subtly Christian, and the book would be a great book to pass off to a nonbeliever kind of nonchalantly.....all the while delivering a mild, unsuspecting dose of Christianity. It is also not a gender specific book, and anyone who likes a great story would enjoy it.
