Mission Statement

With the help of adult church volunteers, we provide a safe and loving atmosphere for our children, allowing the parents to worship at either of our church services without anxiety. A numbered alert system is in place should an emergency arise.
In the Nursery
From their first days in the church, children are precious to us. Our nursery is for children 6 weeks old – 3 yrs of age. Through bible stories, songs and play, we strive to teach our little one’s of God’s big love for each of them. A snack is also provided for older toddlers.
Early Elementary
This class meets in the back classroom of the Greenhouse (Children’s Ministry building) and is for children from age 3 – Kindergarten. At Pin Oaks, our goal is to educate our children through activities that will help them grow to be followers of Christ. We are currently weaving our way through The Beginner’s Bible with age appropriate stories, games and crafts to accompany each lesson.
Older Elementary
Children in 1st grade – 5th grades meet in the big room of the Greenhouse. We chose to use the All Stars for Jesus Explorers curriculum because it not only teaches God’s word, but has an application in our children’s everyday lives. Children in this class enjoy their lesson through games, activities, crafts and more. We strive to provide solid teachings that will help children learn how truly special they are to Jesus and equip them with the knowledge of how to serve Him every day of their lives.

If you are interested in serving in the Children’s Ministry, whether as a Sunday morning teacher or through our annual VBS week, please click HERE to complete a volunteer application. For the protection of our children and volunteers, a background check is included.
