Wee Care Information
Welcome to Pin Oaks Christian Fellowship’s WEE Care – Mother’s Day Out program. We trust your child’s experience here will be rich and rewarding. We don’t just assume that kind of experience will happen. We are intentional about it.
The program will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for children 18 months (by September 1) to PreK.
The WEE Care – Mother’s Day Out program focuses on 2 main objectives.
1. Provide Academic Instruction. We focus on literacy (speaking, listening, reading and writing) instruction, which is age appropriate and meets the needs of the children. Activities include creative play, music, art, stories, cooking, visits from community helpers, and hands on learning experiences that involve age level appropriate concepts in numbers, letters, shapes and colors.
2. Enriching the Whole Child. We strive to educate the whole child (academically, socially, physically and emotionally) in a way that makes learning fun and ultimately sets the child up for long-term success.
We offer a safe, warm learning environment, which enables children to succeed in their academic, social and physical development, thus enhancing self-esteem and creating a positive early learning experience. We want to provide our students with a fun early learning experience that prepares them for success in kindergarten and beyond.
Our teachers come well prepared and plan activities that are age appropriate. Children will have opportunities to master the readiness skills necessary for academic success. They will learn social skills and how to relate better to those in authority and to other children. We desire that children be kind, appreciative, pleasant and respectful. These traits are not just hoped for, but taught. A safe and happy environment is provided for your child. We recognize security is of high importance to parents.
Pin Oaks Christian Fellowship is committed to ministering to your family as well as your child.
Teaching your children and building strong families,
