My prayer today is for peace and freedom from anxiety. My heart is heavy with stress and uncertainty, along with the responsibility of caring for others when faced with the possibility of furloughs and job losses. I know that God is always with me - but so many others don’t or have forgotten. I’ve had so many people in my office crying and worried about how they are going to pay their bills get medicine for their kids, or just buy food, especially when they are faced with either getting put on call or working in ICU caring for Covid patients. I pray for words of wisdom and comfort to offer to those who are hurting.
