Pin Oaks KidMin: We exist to introduce kids to Jesus and help them grow in their relationship with Him.
The POCF Kid’s Ministry is dedicated to serving little ones, from infancy through the 5th grade.
We have 3 areas for Kids: Nursery, PreK, and K-5
Sundays– We offer Kid’s Ministry for birth-5th grade in both services.
Wednesdays– We off KidMin activities for Kinder-5th graders from 6:30 until 8:00 pm **Check-in starts at 6:20 and check-out is right at 8:00!
Nursery
From their first days in the church, children are precious to us. Our nursery is for children 6 weeks old to 2 years old. With an attentive, caring staff, babies are held in loving arms while hearing about the love of God through play and worship songs.
Preschool
Our preschool ministry is for kids 2 – 4 years old. Preschoolers learn about the love of God as they are led through Bible based stories. Our goal is to educate our kids through activities that will help them grow to be followers of Christ with age-appropriate games and crafts to accompany each lesson.
Elementary (K-5)
Our elementary aged kids begin with an exciting and engaging large group worship experience. Our skit-based curriculum includes fun characters and upbeat music so that kids can jam for Jesus! Kids will learn to worship with their whole hearts and how to apply Biblical concepts through our weekly “Need to Know.”
After large group, kids will break out into age-level classrooms where they will participate in fun classroom activities that dive into the weekly Bible story and support the concepts from the story. Kids will also be challenged with memorizing scripture so that they are armed with Biblical truth for daily living.
Help Wanted!
POCF’s Kids Ministry is always looking for leaders and helpers for Sunday morning classes and the nursery. Our church is growing and we need several volunteers to support that growth.
Requirements for participating in Kid’s ministry include:
- A commitment to being a disciple of Christ and spiritual growth.
- Passion and love for kids.
- Application completion, including consent for background check.
- No child endangerment charges.
- Youth can apply to be helpers in this ministry if they are 6th grade or older.
NOT a requirement for participating in Kid’s ministry:
- Extensive Biblical knowledge or expertise in Biblical subject matters.
