The annual trunk or treat was a big hit this year. Several additions to the event made it extra special and helped put it over the top.
First of all, we want to extend our deepest thanks to Hillary Painter for all of her hard work and coordination. The event had over 300 people and added the nice touch of a hay ride with themed decorations stationed throughout the back property. The costume contest found a family “from the zoo” as our first, first place winners. We also handed out a metric ton of corn dogs for all our guests. While the guys from “Game Day” heckled the crowd and showered people with candy kids enjoyed the nearby bounce houses and obstacle courses.
So many people commented on the variations of trunks and the creativity of our church and its members. Everyone pitched in to make the event a success. Overall, it turned out pretty sweet and we can’t wait to do it all again.
